Elizabeth "Lizzie" Wurtzel is a teenager accepted into Harvard with a scholarship in journalism. She has been raised by her divorced mother Mrs. Wurtzel since she was two years old, but she misses her father and feels needy and depressive. When she joins the university, she lives with a roommate Ruby and has her sexual initiation with Noah. Her article for the local column in Crimson newspaper is awarded by Rolling Stone magazine. Lizzie becomes abusive in sex and drugs, and her existential crisis and depression increases and she hurts her friends and her mother that love her, while dating Rafe. Mrs. Wurtzel sends her to an expensive psychiatric treatment with Dr. Sterling, in spite of having difficulties paying for her medical bills and therapy sessions. After a long period of treatment under medication, and suicide attempt, Lizzie stabilizes and adjusts to the real world.

I was cheering for the Flu Birds to win so the movie would be over. The writing and directing had me feeling sorry for the actors. What could they do to save the film being handed this piece of poop. Was it written by a 7 year old and directed by a homeless person. My apology to the homeless. The actors apparently needed jobs and apparently need new managers. The actors did over act in what I think was them trying to make the movie kind of camp. The actors were good looking but I saw pain in their faces like they were being forced to do this film. If this was intended to be a horror movie then they really missed the mark. I did find myself laughing at how ridiculous the whole thing was. It is another example how someone had a good idea for a movie and then the writers and director screwed it all up. I suppose the people that funded this movie are so rich that they wanted a tax loss for the year?

There should be more of these Pooh movies so that parents can take their children to decent movies that they can enjoy too. The movie seemed a little short but it's understandable since it's made for younger children and we all know little ones usually can't sit through long movies. This one was an exception though since all I heard was laughter from children instead of I wanna go. We all had a good laugh and can't wait for the DVD.This movie is excellent for all ages. In the audience that night I noticed people of all ages from 2yrs to seniors. This G rated movie really was Great!

Here's the problem. Garfields sarcastic, snide comments and attitude are not fitting for a children's movie. The dialog and environments don't match at all. In one minute of video, they have bubble blowing cars and brightly colored scenery while Garfield tells his friend that he "sucks".... I don't teach my kids to talk that way at the age that this movie is marketed towards. What were they thinking? The new imagining of Garfield stinks, every movie has bombed and so is this stinking pile of mean and unfunny dialog, with tacky scenery and character design. Just 90 minutes of humiliation towards the characters.

Plot
Wallace's second solo book, Yes Man was published in July 2005. In it, he describes how he spent six months "saying Yes where once would have said No", to make his life more interesting and positive. A film adaptation of Yes Man is in development with Warner Bros. and will star Jim Carrey . It is set to be released for the 19th December 2008.

I've seen The Vanguard at the BIFFF in Brussels. A got drawn by the Poster 'refreshing, will leave you craving for more' Yeah Right. This film is extremely low budget (there's nothing wrong with low budget films if they're well made, but this one obviously is not) and has the look and feel of a student's project. The idea is OK, but the horror in this is totally absent. THere's no gore either. The one scene where blood splatters out of a guy's chest, it's so fake it's not even funny. The plot is full of holes and doesn't work up to a climax. There's only a flat line. The zombies are unconvincing and confused: do they attack you always, or just when they feel like it? The playground is a field and a couple of hundred square meters of wood. The characters only run around in the wood and go nowhere (just like the plot). This film is a total waste of your precious and expensive time. If you want to see zombies, go see Romero's latest: Diary of the Dead, at least that one is well executed.

The death of his childhood bes friend, Boots, takes our protagonist, and the movie, into an extended flashback to a sea-side town in 1970s Britain. Hollywood star Joe is now a teenage boy in a tentative relationship with a school-girl called Ruth. Further, his mother's friend, Evelyn, is attempting to seduce him. Engulfed by guilt at the unintended, tragic consequences of his subterfuge, he leaves home. The movie then switches back to contemporary Hollywood. Joe confronts his fear and returns to England for a difficult meeting with Ruth, who had gone on to marry Boots and has been a left a poor widow.

The 2001 video game Max Payne was optioned by the production company Collision Entertainment to produce a live-action film adaptation. Filming began in Toronto on March 2, 2008 and wrapped by May 9, 2008.The film will be rated PG-13 in the United States, a departure from the M-rated video game series. Mila Kunis said of the tone-down, "It's incredibly dark. You still get the gist of it. The only difference between R-rated and PG-13 is you might not see as much blood.
